From the Heart

I have always been intrigued with bleeding heart plants.  I love the shape of their leaves and how delicate and brightly colored the hearts are.  Growing up I was able to enjoy these beautiful plants not only in my mother's garden but also in my Grandma's.

A "bleeding" heart can be a beautiful thing if we remember to keep in view the lessons we can learn in those times in life when our heart may be broken.  Some of our strongest attributes grow only through being broken hearted.

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
~Psalms 34:18~
